New Delhi, 29 July 2022: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination 2022 (JEE Advanced 2022) exam on 28 August 2022. The registration process for the JEE Advanced entrance examination will begin from August 7 to August 11. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam through the official website β jeeadv.ac.in.

JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Pattern
- JEE Advanced 2022 will consist of two question papers: Paper-1 and Paper-2 of three hours duration each. Appearing for both the papers is compulsory.
- Each question paper will consist of three separate sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- The question papers will consist of questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of the candidates.Β
- Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers for some of the questions.
- The question papers will be in both English and Hindi languages. The candidates will have the option to choose (and also switch between) the preferred language anytime during the examination. The English version will prevail in the event of any difference of opinion.
How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2022?
- Candidates are required to visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2022.
- Then, they are required to complete the registration process by filling all the required details.
- Thereafter, they are required to pay the non-refundable application fee and finally submit the application form.
- Finally, the candidates are required to save and take printouts of the confirmation page for future references.

- Class 10 certificate as proof of birth
- Class 12 (or equivalent examination) certificate [for those who appeared for the first time for the examination in 2021 or whose board declared the Class 12 (or equivalent examination) result after October 15, 2020].Β
- If the mark sheet/pass certificate of Class 12 (or equivalent examination) for 2022 is available, then it must be uploaded.
- Class 12 (or equivalent examination) certificate [for those who appeared for the first time for the JEE exam in 2020 and are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2022].
- If the candidateβs name is not the same as in the Class 10 certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name should be uploaded.
