Selection Process
The selection for Special Officer (SO) posts will be done through a three-phase process, namely, preliminary exam, mains exam, and interview. The candidates have to clear each stage to be eligible for the next stage of selection.
- Preliminary exam

- The written test will be divided into two stages, namely, Stage 1 and Stage 2.
- Each stage will consist of 150 questions for 125 marks.
- The maximum time limit for each stage is 40 minutes.
- Mains exam

- Each stage will consist of 60 questions for 60 marks.
- The maximum time limit for each stage is 45 minutes.
- A 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Interview
