Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS has released IBPS RRB vacancy for a total of 10 posts in participating rural regional banks across India including:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection had already mentioned that they plan to release the notification for the upcoming IBPS RRB exam 2021 sometime around June 2021. Even though the exact numbers are yet to be announced, it is exected from IBPS to follow the last year’s vacancy trend and continue with the same vacancy number as it was in 020, ie., 9698.

IBPS RRB Vacancy – Post-wise

IBPS has announced that they are planning to open over 8400 vacancies for IBPS RRB 2021. Out of this number, 3688 vacancies may be allocated for office assistant while 3382 vacancies may be alloted for officer scale-I officers. Candidates who hold the minimum educational qualification of a Graduation degree (or its equivalent examination) and are between the ages of 20 to 40 years as on 21.07.2021 will be considered eligible to sit for IBPS RRB exam.

IBPS RRB Notification – Salaries

Candidates selected in the IBPS RRB Mains exam will undergo proper training as per the post. After completing the training, they will be posted to different allotted banks. The salary of the selected candidates (later appointed officer) is based on different scales (Grades).

The IBPS RRB pay scale is nearly similar for the different posts. As a standard, the salary of an IBPS RRB Officer comprises basic pay, allowances and the gross salary, which is around Rs 50,000/-. However, after deductions, the total in-hand IBPS RRB salary for various posts is:

Dearness Allowance	This states the cost of living. It is almost 46.5% of the basic salary. The DA is revised after every 3 months.
House Rent Allowance	It is paid for accommodation expenses. The amount varies as per the employee’s city of residence.  The bank pays between 5% and 10% of HRA as per the place of posting. Rural Areas – 5% of basic pay Semi-urban Areas – 7.5% of  basic pay Urban Areas – 10% of basic pay
Special Allowance	It includes incentives or the performance-based bonus given to employees. Around 7.75% of the basic allowance can be acquired as a special allowance by the employees. The SA was not offered earlier. It came into effect from January 2016.
