IBPS Clerk Result – Prelims and Mains Result, Scorecard, Normalisation

IBPS clerk 2019-20 results for prelims were declared on Jan 1, 2020, and the scorecard for the same was released on Jan 8, 2020. IBPS Clerk 2019-20 mains results/provisional allotment and IBPS Clerk result (CRP- Clerks VIII) for the provisional allotment under reserve list is delayed due to coronavirus induced countrywide lockdown. The results of IBPS Clerk prelims are qualifying in nature and do not count in the final marks. After the results of IBPS Mains are declared, a provisional allotment of clerical cadre posts is made.

While the results are announced for each and every appearing candidate, the scorecard is only issued for those candidates who qualify the IBPS Clerk exam as per the qualifying cut off. The scorecard of IBPS Clerk is released a few days after the declaration of results and consists of the candidate’s personal details, overall marks, sectional marks and cut off marks.ย

Some of the important points related to the IBPS Clerk Mains and Prelims exams are:

  • IBPS Clerk prelims exam comprises questions on English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.
  • The total marks of the prelims exam are 100.
  • Candidates are required to qualify in each of the three tests by securing the cut off marks.
