New Delhi, 19 July 2022: The Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) has invited online applications from graduate engineers and post graduates in the field of science for DRDO RAC recruitment 2022. This includes students who are appearing or have appeared in their final year examination of engineering program.ย
The applications are also meant for candidates who are likely to get final or provisional engineering degree for recruitment to 630 vacancies of Scientist `Bโ in the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Science and Technology (DST), and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in specific disciplines and categories.

- Department of Science and Technology (DRDO) is Indiaโs reputed Defence R&D organization that employs bright, qualified and competent scientists in Group โAโ (Gazetted) technical service known as Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS).
- Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is entrusted with the design & development of the Light Combat Aircrafts (LCAs) for the Defence Services. The candidates selected against ADA vacancies will be designated as Scientist/Engineer โBโ and will not be part of DRDS.
- DST is primarily responsible for the formulation of science & technology (S&T) policies and their implementation, identification of areas of research in different sectors of S&T, technology information, forecasting and assessment, international collaboration, organizing, coordinating, and promoting S&T activities in the country.

How to Apply for DRDO RAC Recruitment 2022?
- Candidates are required to apply online through the DRDO RAC application form link available on the official website of RAC.
- On successful registration, the candidates are required to upload the required documents and pay the application fee followed by locking the application before submission of the same.
- All candidates need to upload a signed declaration stating that they have informed in writing to their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) and have applied for the post in RAC, DRDO.
- Lastly, the candidates are advised to retain a copy of the online recruitment application in PDF format after locking the online application form.
DRDO RAC Recruitment 2022 – Required Documents
- Date of birth self attested certificates (high school certificate or birth certificate issued by local authority).
- Essential qualification degree along with mark-sheets (both front and reverse side).
- A recent passport size color photograph (size not exceeding 30KB; resolution of 110 x 140 pixels).
- Scanned sample of candidateโs signature.
- Valid GATE score card (applicable only for Category I candidates in Part-I disciplines, and for all candidates in Part-II disciplines).
