COMEDK Registration – Important Dates, Schedule, Step-wise Process

All the candidates willing to apply for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) must register themselves for the same. The COMEDK registration 2020 is the initial step before the aspirants go ahead with filling up the application form, downloading the admit card, and performing other important admission processes. Candidates who find themselves eligible for the entrance examination can register for the same.  

The online registration process for COMEDK 2020 is ongoing and will be closed on June 17, 2020. Also, aspirants can make corrections in their respective application forms from 22nd June to 25th June 2020.  Candidates can register on the official website i.e. comedk.org and generate their unique user ID and password after completing the registration process successfully. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the complete schedule for the examination has been postponed. Important Update – The Admit cards for the COMEDK UGET 2020 and Uni-Gauge-E will be available for download from at least a week prior to the exam date. Candidates who have succesfully applied for the exam will be able to download the admit cards in the online mode by entering the login credentials.  It is also crucial to know that COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauge-E will be conducted as a single exam for the year 2020. The exam is  rescheduled  again with  regards  to  the  safety  of  the  applicants  in  wake  of  the  Covid  19  pandemic.  COMEDK  UGET  2020  will now be held on 19th  August  2020.

In order to register for COMEDK 2020, candidates need to know the steps that lead to a successful registration. The process is strictly online and candidates need to visit the official website of the authority. Given below are the basic steps elaborating how to register for COMEDK 2020.

COMEDK Registration – Fields Explained

In the COMEDK 2020 registration form, the general details are to be provided by candidates. Make sure to provide authentic details correctly. Explanation of each field required to be filled in the registration form is given here for the ease of applicants.   

  • Candidate’s name: It is mandatory to enter your full name as mentioned in academic records. In the case of name change for any reason, the original proof of the same has to be produced at the time of admission.
  • Date of Birth: Make sure to provide the date of birth as per 10th /SSLC Marks sheet only.
  • Email ID: The email address entered must be valid as all the further communication regarding the examination will be conveyed to the same ID.
  • Mobile number: Candidates need to enter their active mobile numbers in order to receive OTP, SMS and other alerts.
  • Unique ID proof: It is important to provide the number of any of the IDs issued by the state or central government. Also, this ID proof will have to be verified at the time of admission.

COMEDK Registration – ID Proofs

Talking about the ID proofs required to register for COMEDK UGET 2020, there are certain government ID proofs that have to be submitted in the registration form. Candidates will have to put the ID proof number in the required field. Further, the scanned copy of the same has to be uploaded in the application form. The candidate has to use the same ID proof until the entire admission process. The acceptable ID proofs for COMEDK registration 2020 are: 

  1. Voter ID
  2. Passport
  3. Driving License
  4. Aadhar Card /E-Aadhar
  5. PAN Card

COMEDK – Login Credentials

After completing the successful registration, the applicants will receive a unique USER ID and Password as their login credentials. These credentials will be used by the candidates every time they login to the COMEDK dashboard.

Once the registration process is completed, candidates will have to start with filling up the application form of COMEDK 2020.
