New Delhi, 18 October 2021 – Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has announced that the CAT 2021 admit card will be released on 27th October 2021. The CAT admit card will be made available for download from 5 PM onwards in online mode. To download their respective admit cards, aspirants must visit the official CAT website – iimcat.ac.in.
As per the latest update, the CAT exam date 2021 has been declared and the event will be conducted on 28th October 2021.
How To Download CAT 2021 Admit Card?
To download the CAT admit card 2021, aspirants must follow the below steps:
- Visit the official IIM CAT website – iimcat.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘CAT 2021 admit card’ (once released)
- After a new page opens, fill in the credentials such as user ID and password and click ‘Submit’
- When the admit card appears on the screen, check the details
- Download it and take a printout for future reference

After the aspirants download the CAT admit card, they must ensure that all the below-mentioned details are available in their CAT hall ticket 2021:
- Name of the candidate
- Date of birth
- Application number
- PwD status
- Category of the candidate
- Date and day of the test
- Test timings and session
- Test city
- Reporting/ Entry time at centre
- Test centre
- Gate closing time of centre
- Space provided to affix the candidate’s photograph and signature
- CAT admit card instructions for candidates to be followed on the day of CAT 2021 examination
What Are The Changes in CAT Eligibility Criteria 2021?
IIM Ahmedabad has made a few changes in the eligibility criteria for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021. Now, the students issued with a ‘promotion/pass’ certificate instead of a ‘marks’ certificate (in any of the last 2 years of graduation) due to the pandemic can apply for CAT using the ‘promotion or pass’ option in the application form.
This revised eligibility relaxation is also applicable for final year graduation students who have received an ‘award of marks’ certification. This will allow the aspirants to submit the application forms despite the requirements of minimum eligibility criteria of 50% (general) and 45% (SC/ST/PwD) respectively.
Students must note that this exception in the eligibility criteria is only applicable for students who have either completed or are in the final year of graduation this year.
Furthermore, as per reports, the CAT results 2021 are likely to be announced by the second week of January 2022. For more information, candidates are requested to keep an eye on the official IIM CAT website.
