APMSRB Recruitment 2023 – Salary
During the probation period, the salary will be provided in accordance with the existing rules. Upon successful completion of the probation period, the 7th UGC Pay scales will be implemented, determining the applicable salary.
APMSRB Recruitment 2023 – Selection Process
- The selection process will be conducted based on merit and the rule of reservation.
- A merit list will be prepared for all candidates who have applied online and fulfilled the eligibility criteria. The selection lists will be prepared by considering the merit lists and roster points, in accordance with the Rules of Reservation prescribed by the state of Andhra Pradesh for State and Subordinate Services.
- The total marks for the selection process will be 100. Out of these, 75 marks will be allotted based on the marks or grade obtained in the qualifying degree.
- For candidates who do not have a postgraduate marks memo or grade, the percentage of marks will be considered as 50% (50% x 75 = 37.50).
- It is the candidate’s responsibility to acquire and submit marks memos from the competent authorities in cases where grades are issued instead of marks.
- Up to 10 marks will be awarded based on the number of years since the candidate passed the qualifying examination, at a rate of 1 mark per completed year of PG/Completion of PG/Super-specialty.
- Candidates who have completed their PG/Super Specialty from Central Institutions will receive an additional 5 marks as a weightage.
- A total of 15 marks will be allotted for the duration of contract service rendered in government institutions.
