MHRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal will host a LIVE online interaction with teachers and students through the Education Ministry’s Twitter and Facebook handle tomorrow (22nd December 2020). The Education Minister is likely to address the suggestions which have been pouring in on his twitter handle regarding the upcoming CBSE board exams, including its datesheet, syllabus and mode of conduct. Teachers and students across the country have been sharing their suggestions regarding the CBSE board exams for Class 10 and 12 using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.
Previously, the LIVE interaction was scheduled to be held on 17th December 2020 but due to an overwhelming response and suggestions from the teachers around the country, the Education Minister decided to reschedule it.

Various Recommendations by CBSE Teachers
- Out of the varying recommendations sent to the Education Ministry, some CBSE senior-secondary teachers have proposed cancellation of CBSE 2021 board exams altogether while others have requested to postpone the exams by at least 2-3 months.
- Several teachers have also suggested the Ministry to conduct the CBSE board exams in online mode, while some have suggested to abandon the practical exams only, and schedule the exams with a more “comfortable” exam pattern.
- Additionally, teachers have requested the Ministry to give students more optional (MCQ-type) questions in the CBSE board exam since students have been forced to learn online throughout the lockdown, which they believe is not a proper alternative for the physical classroom experience.
Earlier, the Education Minister conducted a LIVE session with students, teachers and parents on 10th December 2020. During that interaction, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal discussed several questions put up by students regarding the schedule and syllabus of JEE Main and NEET 2021.
