Bihar BEd CET 2023 – Registrations Begin, Check Eligibility & More 

New Delhi, 20 February 2023 – Bihar BEd CET 2023 – The registration process for the Bihar B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test (CET) 2023 has begun. According to the schedule, Lalit Narayan Mithila University will hold the entrance exam on 8 April 2023 for the two-year B.Ed. and Shiksha Shastri programmes.

The application deadline is 15 March 2023. Online application forms may be edited and submitted with a late fee from 16 March to 20 March 2023. 

The university will begin issuing admit cards on 20 March 2023.

Bihar BEd CET 2023 – Eligibility for Two-Year B.Ed. Programme

  • Candidates with at least 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) and/or a master’s degree in Science Engineering/Technology with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks, or any other equivalent qualification, are eligible to take the admission test for the two-year B.Ed. programme.

Eligibility for Two-Year Shiksha Shastri Programme

  • The admission test for the Shiksha Shastri programme is open to candidates who have a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as the main subject and a master’s degree in Sanskrit/Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with at least 50%, or any other qualification that is equivalent.
  • Candidates must have passed the Shastri B.A. (including Sanskrit as one of the main subjects) examination for the first year, as well as the Acharya (first-year) or M.A. (Sanskrit) examination (Bridge Course). 

Bihar BEd CET 2023 – Examination Fee

  • The examination fee for General candidates will be INR 1000.
  • For differently abled persons, Economically Backward Classes (EBC), Backward Classes (BC), women, and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), the fee will be INR 750.
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will have to pay INR 500 as the fee.
  • Candidates must pay the examination fee through an online payment gateway only.

Step 1: Candidates must visit the Bihar B.Ed. CET 2023’s official website at biharcetbed-lnmu.in.


Step 2: Candidates are now required to click on the link that reads “Online Registration” in the middle left corner of the page.

Step 3: Candidates must click the “New Registration” link in the middle right corner of the page.


Step 4: Candidates must sign up by entering their name, gender, date of birth, names of their parents, email address, etc.

Step 5: Candidates now must fill out the application form and pay the fee.
