QS World University Rankings – IIT Bombay, Delhi Top in Employability

New Delhi, 28 October 2022: The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), London has released its QS World University Rankings Sustainability 2023 on 26 October 2022. As per the latest employability and sustainability rankings, a total of 15 Indian universities ranked in the list with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) featuring in the 172 rank range. It earned the top spot among Indian universities – followed by IIT-Delhi at second place and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at third place, respectively.

Other Indian universities that feature in the list are the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT-R), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M).

Note: As per the overall QS University Rankings, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru has emerged as the highest-ranked Indian institute. However, in the employability and sustainability rankings, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) has secured the top rank across the country.
