UPSEE Counselling
Aspirants who qualify the UPSEE 2020 exam will be called for the counselling and seat allotment process by the conducting authority. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will conduct the counselling for UPSEE 2020 in online mode after the declaration of result. In order to appear for the UPSEE counselling, candidates will be required to register themselves for the process. Also, the aspirants will be able to lock their preferred choice of colleges. The UPSEE 2020 results are scheduled to be announced on 15th October 2020 and the counselling process will begin from 19th October 2020.
AKTU will conduct the counselling and seat allotment process after verifying the documents of the candidates. There will be four rounds for UPSEE 2020 counselling and two spot rounds. The final seats will be alloted on the basis of the scores secured by the candidates in UPSEE 2020, cut off scores, preferences of colleges and courses, and seat availability. The official dates for the conduct of counselling and seat allotment process for UPSEE 2020 is yet to be released by the university. The UPSEE 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2020. It was initially supposed to be conducted on May 10, 2020, but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic across the nation.

1. Aspirants will be now required to upload the required documents and get them verified in online mode. After document verification, the university will send a unique OTP to every candidate, which is to be used for the choice filling process.

The spot rounds of counselling will be conducted by AKTU to fill in the vacant seats. The seats left vacant after the conduct of four rounds of counselling and seat allotment rounds will be filled during the spot counselling rounds.Â
These spot rounds will be conducted in offline mode. The candidates will be required to register again for the spot rounds. Allotment of the seats will be done on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates. Aspirants will be required to submit a demand draft of INR 7000 drawn in the favour of the Finance Officer, AKTU payable at Lucknow during sport rounds.Â

During the counselling and seat allotment rounds, the university will follow the below mentioned seat reservation criteria. The seats will be allotted as per category in vertical and horizontal reservations.Â

After the declaration of the UPSEE 2020 result on 15th October 2020, AKTU will commence the counselling and seat allotment process from 19th October 2020.

AKTU will allot seats to the UPSEE qualifiers on the basis of the UPSEE scores, cut off marks, choices locked, and availability of seats.
For OBC and general category candidates, the counselling fee is INR 20,000 and for SC and ST category candidates, it is INR 12,000 .
The four rounds of UPSEE counselling and seat allotment will be conducted in online mode, and two rounds of spot counselling will be conducted in offline mode.
