SSC CGL Registration – Application Status
Before we move on with the application process, let’s know the eligibility criteria for appearing in the SSC CGL exam.
- Candidate must be either a citizen of India, a person of Indian origin, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee
- Candidate should be between 18 and 30 years of age
- Applicant should have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
Application Process
- Login onto the official website of SSC
- Create an account by filling in the details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, etc.
- Create a username and password to log in for accessing the form.
- Upload a scanned photograph and signature on the portal
Provide further details such as education, communication address and move next to pay application fees.
- INR 100 is paid by general category male students whereas women (of all categories)/ Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD)/ Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from this fee.
- The application process is completed once you complete the form, upload the required documents, and pay the fees.
