RCF Railway Recruitment 2023 – Eligibility and Selection Process for Apprentice Posts
Age Limit
Candidates who are interested in applying for the position should be between the ages of 15 and 24 as of 31 March 2023.

Educational Qualification
- Candidates need to have scored at least 50% in their Class 10 exam or its equivalent from a recognised board.
- Candidates must hold a National Trade Certificate from the National Council for Vocational Training in the notified trade.
Mode of Selection
- The merit list of all candidates who apply in response to the notification will be used to select candidates. The list will be prepared based on the simple average of marks obtained by candidates in Class 10, and the Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
- If two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with the older age will be preferred. If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the Class 10 exam first will be considered.
- Candidates who are eventually enlisted must pass an appropriate medical examination and have their original documents verified.
- The medical certificate must be signed by a government-authorised doctor with a rank no lower than Assistant Surgeon of a central/state hospital.
Application Fee
- Application fee for candidates belonging to General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is INR 100.
- There is no application fee for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and women candidates.
- As part of the online application process, candidates must pay the application fee using a payment gateway.
- The application fee cannot be paid in cash, cheque, money order, IPO or demand draft.
