Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has activated JEE Advanced 2021 mock test links and released the subject-wise syllabus on the official website. The mock tests and syllabus have been released for both Paper 1 and 2 of JEE Advanced 2021. Additionally, candidates can find previous year question papers of JEE Advanced exams on the website.
JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur on 3 July, 2021 (Saturday) in two shifts. The exam shall have two mandatory papers โ Paper 1 and Paper 2. While Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. JEE Advanced 2021 will be held in a Computer-based test (CBT) mode in various cities located in over 7 IIT zones.
In order to appear for JEE Advanced exam, candidates have to clear the JEE Main exam first. The top 2,50,000 candidates who make it to the merit list (based on their performance in JEE Main 2021) will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2021. Talking about the eligibility criteria to secure admission in IITs, candidates must have obtained pass marks in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a language subject, and any other subject. Candidates must note that the 75% eligibility criteria have been removed this year.

Note: Candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2020 but could not appear for the exam due to challenges related to COVID-19, shall be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced 2021 without having to appear for JEE Main 2021 exam.
