CAT Admit Card 2022: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has recently published notifications concerning the Common Admission Test (CAT) on its official website: iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2022 registration period started on August 3, 2022 and will expire on September 14, according to the official statement. 

The CAT admit card will be made available between September 27 and November 27, 2022. Additionally, according to the notification, the CAT 2022 results would be disclosed somewhere during the second week of January 2023. A total of 150 cities across India will host the CAT exam. 

The test will have three sections: Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; and Section III: Quantitative Ability. The test will take 120 minutes. Candidates will have 40 minutes to attempt each section.

CAT Admit Card 2022

The admit card for the CAT 2022 exam will be made available between September 27 and November 27, 2022. A step-by-step tutorial for downloading the CAT admit card is provided below:

  • Candidates must first go to iimcat.ac.in, the official CAT 2022 website.
  • Then, they must select the “Login” option.
  • They must next enter their password and registration ID.
  • The “Admit Card” option must then be selected in order to download it.
  • Finally, candidates must print a duplicate of their individual CAT 2022 admit cards after downloading them for future use.

CAT Admit Card 2022 – CAT Results

  • The CAT 2022 result will likely be made public by the second week of January 2023.

What is the eligibility criteria for CAT 2022?

Candidates must have undergraduate degrees with a minimum of 50% mark or an equivalent CGPA. Candidates from the SC, ST, and PWD categories must earn undergraduate degrees from an accredited university or institution with a minimum mark of 45%. Candidates who are awaiting results from their final year exams for their various undergraduate programmes may also apply. However, such applicants won't be permitted to enrol in the programme unless they provide a statement from their respective institution's head confirming that they have fulfilled all prerequisites for an undergraduate degree.

What is the syllabus for the CAT 2022 exam?

The three main sections of the CAT 2022 syllabus are Section I, which evaluates verbal ability and reading comprehension, Section II, which evaluates data interpretation and logical thinking, and Section III, which evaluates quantitative ability.
