CAT Admit Card
CAT admit card is a compulsory document which every candidate must carry on the day of the exam. The Admit Cards for CAT 2020 will be released by IIM, Indore on 28th October 2020 on itâs official website. Candidates can download their respective admit cards by using their login credentials. Candidates must check all the details mentioned in the admit card like name, date of birth, registration number, etc., and in case of any discrepancy, report at cathelpdesk@iimcat.ac.in.Â
Important Update- Indian Institute of Management, Indore has notified on its official website that the CAT 2020 will be conducted on 29th November 2020. The official confirmation has also been made regarding the âmode of conductâ for the exam. The CAT 2020 will be conducted in Computer-based test mode in three shifts. Also, CAT 2020 Admit Cards will be released on the 28th October 2020.

1. Candidates must use one of these three web browsers to download the CAT Admit Card:

2. To download the admit card, candidates must remember his/her valid CAT login ID and password.
3. Candidates are advised to save the CAT admit card in a pen drive or email in order to keep a copy for contingency, and get it printed before the CAT examination.
Every year, lakhs of students go through the CAT application process leading to errors in a few applications. As a result, sometimes wrong information is printed on the admit card which can lead to further complications, if not rectified immediately. Hence, candidates are advised to check for the following errors in the admit card before the exam:

Candidates must carry only the following things on the day of the exam:

2. Recent passport size photograph

The purpose of the reference number on the CAT admit card is to help a candidate in locating the floor/wing/lab of the test centre where he/she will be seated. After the exam, there is no use of the reference number.

No. Only an original printout of the CAT admit card is accepted at the examination centre. You are advised to carry at least two printed copies of the CAT admit card to your examination centre.
In case you forget your CAT login password, you can generate a new password by clicking on the âForgot User ID/Passwordâ option on the candidateâs login window. The link to reset the password will be sent to your registered email address.

No. Once the admit card is issued, no changes can be made in the test centre. The test centre options are filled during the application filling process. The exam centre will be allotted based on the best possible exam slot available as per the priority mentioned by you in the application form.
No, the CAT admit card 2020 will be available online only and can only be downloaded from the official website by the candidates themselves. The IIM officials donât send any hard copy of admit cards to the candidates.
