BITSAT Slot Booking – Important Details, Process, Schedule

The Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) initiated the BITSAT 2020 slot booking process on 9th September 2020. All registered candidates must book a slot for examination online at bitsadmission.com. The schedule for BITSAT 2020 has been updated yet again due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The BITSAT 2020 will now be conducted from 16th to 18th September 2020 and 21st to 23rd September 2020. 

Important Update- BITS Pilani declared the iteration 6 results on 17th November 2020.  The results for the iteration 1,2,3,4 and 5 have already been announced by the governing on 5th October, 15th October, 23rd October, 2nd November and 11th November 2020 respectively.

What is the process of BITSAT Slot Booking?

The BITSAT 2020 examination will be held from 16th September to 23rd September 2020 in two slots. From these slots, every candidate needs to choose a one-time slot as per their preference. Also, it must be noted that the BITSAT slot booking 2020 will be on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. The slot booking process for BITSAT is an important event for candidates willing to take the examination. With the change in the last date of application form, BITSAT slot booking dates might change as well. Candidates must keep a track of the schedule with the help of the table given below.

BITSAT Slot Booking – Key Information

BITSAT 2020 exam will be conducted in different slots like every year. Hence, candidates who have registered for the examination need to choose a preferred slot to take the examination. However, BITS holds the right to allot the slot to the candidates. The slots are allotted on the basis of availability and preference expressed by the candidates. Available slots for BITSAT 2020 are:   

  1. Slot 1 – 9.00 AM – 12.00 PM
  2. Slot 2 – 2.00 PM – 5.00 PM

Details Required for BITSAT Slot Booking 2020

In order to book a slot for BITSAT 2020, candidates need to log in into their dashboard on the official BITSAT website. The login details must be available with every candidate before starting the slot booking. These login credentials (application number and password) will be the same as those that are generated at the time of registration for BITSAT 2020.  

If, by any chance, a candidate forgets his/her login credentials, he/she can check his/her email ID. The login credentials are shared with the candidates on their registered email ID once they complete their registration. 

BITSAT Slot Booking – Steps

Once the credentials are ready, candidates must start the BITSAT 2020 slot booking process without delay as it is a ‘first come, first serve’ process. In order to book a slot, follow the steps given below. 

  1. Go to the official website i.e. bitsadmission.com.
  2. On the homepage, click on the link to book a slot.
  3. Now, candidates need to enter their BITSAT 2020 application number and password.
  4. Once the login is accessed, choose your desired slot from the available choices.
  5. Click on the proceed button to submit the choice made for BITSAT slot booking 2020.

Even before the application form is released, BITS issues a list of designated examination centres across all the major cities in India. Candidates applying for the examination must know these cities where the BITSAT 2020 will be conducted. BITSAT Slot Booking – Important Details

There are a set of instructions that are important for candidates to note while booking a slot for BITSAT 2020.

  • It must be kept in mind that the process of slot booking is done on a first come first serve basis by the authority.
  • Only those candidates whose slot is booked will be able to download the admit card and take the examination for BITSAT 2020.
  • If by any chance a candidate misses the slot booking process, the authority will allot them with a slot as per their availability which cannot be changed further.

BITSAT Slot Booking – Admit Card

Soon after receiving the slot booking request from the candidates, the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences will issue the admit card for BITSAT 2020. The Hall Ticket for BITSAT 2020 will have all the necessary details of the candidates and examination schedule. The slot booked and centre will also be indicated on the admit card itself. It is important for candidates to download this admit card by logging in through the website. Further, it is suggested that candidates must go through all the details that are given in the admit card of BITSAT 2020. In any case of discrepancy, it must be corrected before the examination date.
